Julia and Caitlan started Intrepid Imagination in 2023 with the goal of creating affordable, intimate retreats for writers.

As authors, we know how solitary this path can be, how heavy those plot holes and revisions become when you’re carrying them alone. We also know life is expensive, and adding a writing retreat on top of that isn’t always feasible.

Our goal since the beginning of Intrepid has always been community, affordability, and inclusivity. We create experiences for writers to come together, away from the everyday, and explore.

From focused writing sessions to shared coffee-fueled brainstorms, we’re here to celebrate craft, encourage you to achieve your goals, all while embracing joy and connection.
